'Sangria' ®

Panicum virgatum 'Sangria' is a fascinating ornamental grass with linear, upright leaves, surprising with its colors from the base (bluish) green to purple-red or dark red at the top from the start of its growth. Sangria retains its color, which later becomes even stronger and brighter, throughout the season. Plant in normal soil and preferably some sun. A very hardy perennial that blooms from July to November.

A beautiful bushy plant with a height of 0.75 to 1.00 m, it is very suitable and particularly decorative as a container plant or potted plant for the patio or terrace. In such cases, it will be lower: 0.40 to 0.60 m.
