'Britt Marie Crawford'® is the first truly dark-leaved Ligularia with purple-black colors. The large decorative leaves are heart-shaped. Ligularia 'Britt Marie Crawford'® blooms with deep yellow flowers on long upright candle-shaped black flower stems. The plant prefers a semi-shaded position and humus-rich, cool, permanently moist soil and is perfect for pond edges or marsh areas. It is hardy, reasonably tolerant to sea wind, and disease-free. Very suitable for humus-rich gardens.
